For the first time in his career, Bruno Mars snagged the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Artist 100 chart, which is something he can now add to his impressive list of achievements.

In addition, his new album 24K Magic is No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales chart and No. 1 among the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. To date, the new LP has sold 231,000 units, with 194,000 being traditional sales and the rest being streaming and other kinds of purchases.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the Hawaiian born hit-maker said despite having huge successes in the past and releasing the colossal sized smash "Uptown Funk," he had anxiety when making this new album.

"Coming off the biggest song of my career, it was super-daunting to come in here," said Mars, talking about the West Coast recording studio he uses. "I don't know if radio is going to play it, but what I don't want to have happen is I put it out and say, 'D-mn it, if I'd just done this and this, maybe it would have had a shot.'"

Evidently, people are given Mars' new album a shot, so clearly he has nothing to worry about at all.
