Couple Arrested After Car Burglary Spree

Bonnie & Clyde they ain't.

Amarillo Police have arrested a pair yesterday after getting a call about a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot.  The car led investigating officers on a high speed chase that was ended with the help of the DPS helicopter.

The vehicle chase was ended at South Park and Palacio Drive.  The two occupants of the vehicle then fled on foot.  The were captured a short time later.

Inside the vehicle the APD found items from three auto burglaries that had happened overnight plus identifying information for a fourth auto burglary reported the day before.  A debit card that was reported stolen on July 4th was also recovered.

23-year-old Brandon Taylor Burk and 25-year-old Kaelyn Renee Robinson were both taken into custody for various charges.  The investigation for all five auto burglaries is ongoing.
