‘Discover the Dinosaurs’ At Amarillo’s Tri-State Fairgrounds
This event will have you feeling like a cast member of Jurassic Park.
Jurassic Park has always been a classic. It's action-packed, thrilling, and just a bit unbelievable. Then, to our delight, Jurassic World came out and reignited the dinosaur-loving spark in all of us.
Discover the Dinosaurs is bringing a bit of the Jurassic Park magic to Amarillo.
The traveling show gives kids (and adults) the chance to have a hands-on experience with prehistoric beasts. They have moving replicas of dinosaurs in their natural habitats, a realistic archeological dig, a scavenger hunt, and more.
But the best part? Your child can ride a moving T-Rex or Triceratops. There are certain height and weight restrictions - sorry, parents.
Discover the Dinosaurs will be at the Tri-State Fairgrounds on April 2nd and 3rd in the Rex Baxter Building. The exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets are $21 for children 12 and under, $17 for adults, and $14 for seniors over 65.
This is a great chance to get out of the house and enjoy a thrilling part of history.
