Fatality At Amarillo Construction Site

A man was killed Tuesday morning at an Amarillo construction site.

Amarillo police were called yesterday to the construction site at 4512 NE 24th on a report of an accident at around 11:08am.

53-year-old Martin Lowell Cline was injured by a forklift.  According to reports Cline was standing on the right side of the forklift, in front of the rear tire.  Another worker started the equipment and moved forward, striking Cline.  He was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead at 11:49am.

Justice of the Peace Debbie Horn has ordered an autopsy.
