New ‘Flash’ Trailer Reveals Eddie, Snart and Ronnie Raymond’s Return

The Flash made suspiciously close announcements that Season 1 stars Rick Cosnett and Robbie Amell would return, and now we know why. The first trailer for next week’s “Into the Speed Force” reveals the circumstances of their return, along with Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold.

You’re warned of full spoilers for this week’s “The Wrath of Savitar,” but if ever Barry had hope of rescuing Wally from within the Speed Force, he’d need to venture in himself. In the process, it appears he’ll encounter both Rick Cosnett’s Eddie Thawne and Robbie Amell’s Ronnie Raymond, both of whom met ambiguous ends with their bodies separately pulled into a universal breach.

And well … the real Leonard Snart was blown up in the future, but also likes to hang around Mick’s head, so … maybe we won’t overthink this one. So reads the “Into the Speed Force” synopsis:

BARRY TURNS TO THE SPEED FORCE – Desperate to stop Savitar and save his friends, Barry (Grant Gustin) turns to the Speed Force for answers. H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) gives Jesse (Violett Beane) some advice.

Worth noting, both Cosnett and Amell put in appearances last season with otherworldly forms, between Barry’s trip back through time one year earlier, and the group encountering “Deathstorm” on Earth-2. And don’t forget, the following week will see Flash and Supergirl sharing a musical “Duet.”
