Thanks to their successful tours, four classic rockers -- the Eagles, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney -- wound up in the Top 10 on the annual World's Highest Paid Musicians list.

According to Forbes, the Eagles finished at No. 3 by taking in $100 million. Directly behind them were Bon Jovi ($82 million) and Springsteen ($81 million). McCartney, the oldest person in the Top 10, earned $71 million, good enough for No. 8. ABC News Radio adds that the Rolling Stones ($47 million), Roger Waters ($46 million) and Elton John ($45 million) earned them Nos. 19-21 on the list.

The top spot was taken by hip-hop producer Dr. Dre, who sold his Beats heaphone company to Apple for $3 billion, from which he took home $620 million. Beyonce ($115 million) was in second.

Forbes calculates their list based on "income from touring, recorded music, publishing, merchandise sales, endorsements and other ventures ... Earnings were calculated from June 2013 to June 2014 and based on data from Pollstar, the RIAA and Nielsen, and on interviews with managers, lawyers, executives and some artists themselves."
