Gas Prices Up In Amarillo

Gas prices have started a seasonal price rise.

GasBuddy has released results of it's daily survey of 147 gas outlets in Amarillo.  It shows prices are on the rise.  Gas prices were up 6.7 cents over the last week, selling at an average of $2.18 per gallon.  Amarillo gas prices are now up about 9 cents over a month ago and 51.8 cents higher than this time last year.

Nationally prices are up 5.7 cents this last week, selling at an average of $2.39 per gallon.  Prices nationally have gone up 9.3 cents the last week and are 34.6 cents higher than this time last year.
