Today is National Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich Day.   A day to celebrate with your favorite PG&J.

This morning we were asking people how they make their PB&Js and let's just say it was interesting.

When I'm not just eating a basic PB&J (no grape jelly, any jelly but grape), I opt for my very unhealthy sandwich which is: first of all, I toast the bread, then put on my peanut butter, either creamy or crunchy, just depends on the mood I was in, when I bought the peanut butter, then I put cut up bananas, them a layer of marshmallow cream (or fluff), then a drizzle of chocolate syrup.  I told you it was unhealthy but oh, so, good.

Charlie: take a piece of Texas toast and put on a layer of creamy, cream, creamy, peanut butter, then puts on some grape jelly, and then rolls it up and eats it.

Shannon: Peanut butter and gourmet jam. Has to be jam. Your peanut butter to jam ratio needs to be 2:1. You have to make sure you have the freshest bread. So reach down in that bag to the center loaf. I make sure it’s spread evenly so you don’t get that nightmare middle bite where it’s nothing but jam. You want it even, smooth, and fresh.
