A man was arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly breaking into a storage unit, taking items and stealing a motor home.

Randall County deputies were called yesterday morning at around 7am on reports of the burglary of a storage unit at Country & Town Storage near the intersection of the Claude Highway and Lake Tanglewood Road.  A burglar had cut his way through the fence.

Inside the burglar found the keys to a motor home parked nearby.  He loaded the motor home with items stolen from the storage unit and took the motor home, crashing it through the gate as he left.

A Randall Country deputy encountered the motor home and began pursuing.  The driver of the motor home began swerving and at one point slammed on the breaks and attempted to ram the deputy.  Eventually the motor home attempted a U-turn and was struck by a semi truck and can to a stop after hitting a pole.

The driver of the motor home, 30-year-old Justin Mullins was taken into custody and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle with other charges pending.  There were no injuries during the incident.
