Music Festival Season Is Here! Check Out My Quick 5 Picks To See!
Music festivals are one of my favorite parts of the summer months. There is no shortage of great opportunities relatively close by to jump in the crowd, watch some amazing bands, and make some memories.
If you're feeling like taking in a music fest this summer, here is a quick list of five that you can catch in the next couple of months in Texas and Oklahoma.

Neon Desert Music Festival
This music fest kicks off this weekend in El Paso, and is a two-day mix of every genre mixing in national acts with up-and-coming locals. It kicks off on May 26. Get more info HERE.

Kerrville Folk Festival
This one is definitely more of a marathon than a sprint. It is 18 days and nights of music featuring over 100 performers. It lasts from May 24 - June 10. Info is available HERE.

Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic
Of course this one makes the list. Celebrate all things 'murica at the Austin360 Amphitheater on July 4. Always a great time, and always a stellar lineup. Even if you aren't the world's biggest fan of country, there is plenty to keep you entertained. More info HERE.

Rocklahoma
If you've never been to this rock fest in Oklahoma, this would be the year to go. Rocklahoma, in Pryor, is a must for fans of all things rock. From legends to up-and-comers, Rocklahoma has everything you're going to need for a head banging weekend you won't forget. More info HERE.

Woody Guthrie Folk Festival
The Woody Guthrie Folk Festival is July 11-15 in Okemah, Oklahoma. Don't let the "folk" tag fool you. This festival hosts some of the latest and greatest in the "Americana" scene. A mix of rock n' roll, folk, country, and soul awaits you. More info HERE.
