If you have ever wanted to see the Amarillo Zoo once it gets dark and to see what the animals do after the sun goes down, your chance is coming up on Saturday, June 25th at 9pm.

The Amarillo Zoo will be opening their doors in the dark and you can explore the zoo.  They will have very special exhibits and different stations set up around the zoo so you can learn how animals adjust in the dark.

Learn about different nocturnal animals differ from other animals.  You'll learn about tarantulas, opposums, skunks, salamanders and even scorpions.

Plus, all the other great animals and how they act at night.

Don't forget to bring your flashlights to add to the experience, but modify it with a red lens so that it doesn't disturb the animals.  The Zoo will have areas lit so you will be able to see, so flashlights aren't necessary.

Cost for the Night Hike at the Zoo is $5 per person.
