A new survey by Careerbuilder reveals that 25% of employers say orange is the worst color to wear to a job interview because it gives the impression that you are under-confident and under-professional. It doesn't hurt to ask what dress is appropriate for the interview.  Here's how you would phrase it:  "Can you please advise me on the appropriate dress for an interview with your firm? Thanks very much in advance."  You don't want to show up in a suit when everyone else is in jeans or vice versa.
