It's rare that Papa Roach open up to outside voices, but the addition of In This Moment's Maria Brink definitely brings something special to the band's powerful single "Gravity." And Brink repeats her guest appearance in the new video for the song as well.

In the clip above, which just debuted at Billboard, Papa Roach's Jacoby Shaddix reveals his laundry list of sins to the love of his life, played in the video by Brink. In real life, Shaddix penned the track for his wife.

Last fall, Shaddix told us of the track, "That's a raw nerve, man. I always want to put myself out there in the music and this song does that just more so than really ever. It doesn't necessarily paint me in the best picture as far as the cliché rock guy gives himself to the rock and roll excesses story. But we went through that in our relationship. I failed as a husband, as a father, as a lover, as a friend to her and I just wanted to write a song about that brokenness and how somehow she sees something in me that I didn't see in myself at times."

The video itself stays pretty true to Shaddix's lyrical content, with the rocker in the midst of his road excesses when he feels the need to reach out to his love through letters and through phone calls, while on the other side of the story, Brink is going through some rather vulnerable moments herself.

As for the rare guest appearance of Brink on the album, it started with a common bond -- Kevin and Kane Churko. Papa Roach revealed that part of the reason they went with the father-son producing team was because of their fondness for what they had done with In This Moment's music. The band also toured with In This Moment in the past and will tour with them again this fall. So when it came time to think of a collaboration, Brink was at the top of their list.

Bassist Tobin Esperance told Loudwire, "Maria just worked out great. She has such a rad raw chick voice and she really got to do something. I feel like she did something different on this song. It was a different song for us too."

As stated, Papa Roach and In This Moment will be part of a bigger package trek this fall that also includes Five Finger Death Punch and From Ashes to New. In a rare move, both Papa Roach and Five Finger Death Punch have held off on announcing the routing for the run, allowing fans to show their demand for potential cities on the run that will eventually determine which cities will be played.
