Remembering September 11th with the Amarillo Public Safety Agencies
On of the largest tragedies to hit our country happened 15 years ago. We all watch in horror as terrorist tried to destroy our nation. The images are still vivid in our memories, the day we watch thousands of our fellow Americans perish. It was also the day we all came together as a country. Sunday marks the 15th anniversary of the September 11th attacks and you can join in remembering this day.
The Honor Guards of the Amarillo Police Department, Amarillo Fire Department, the Potter and Randall County Sheriff's Office, Randall County Fire Department and the Department of Public Safety, along with all public safety and support agencies with Potter and Randall County will pay tribute to the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice during the September 11th attacks.
The 9/11 Ceremony will take place in front of City Hall, 509 S.E. 7th Ave, Sunday, September 11th at 8:30am.
The public is invited to join in on the ceremony. The ceremony will be held in front of the flag poles located on the south side of City Hall.
