I know that our schedules tend to be thrown off by the change from Central Standard Time to Daylight Savings Time, but that doesn't really bother me because even though you lose an hour of sleep you have more daylight and can be outside more.

Coming from the perspective of a born-and-raised Texan, I have always had to do that annual thing of turning the clocks in my house back or forward depending on the time of year. Everything has its ups and downs, you lose an hour to gain Daylight but the benefit is back deck BBQs and soaking up sunlight the body desperately needs that it just doesn't seem to get in the winter months.

What I like to do, especially if I am getting up early the next morning is set a reminder on my phone or something similar to let me know to make rounds to all the rooms in my house with manual clocks and change them.  Once I do that I can be sure I will be on time for whatever I have going the next day.
