One man is ready to go to court for what he believes is right.

During every Amarillo City Council meeting, there is a time that the council will open up the floor for public comment. Michael Fisher from Amarillo attended a recent meeting to express his disapproval of how the city is treating the homeless. Micheal was outraged when a man was arrested during the meeting for clapping.

He believes the City Council puts too many restrictions on the public during their time of comment and that they violate the laws of the "open meeting act".

This is not the first time a lawsuit of this nature has been pressed against the City of Amarillo. Historically, the city has always won cases like this but Fisher believes he has a good case and is ready for a fight.
