Amarillo Kid Involved in Partying Gets Old Fashion Punishment from Family

Sometimes you just have to learn the hard way.

It's not every day you're scrolling through Facebook and find an interesting post. Meaghan posted in a buy, sell, trade group about their nephews needing to mow lawns.

We wanted to know more about the story so we reached out to Meaghan. She explained her sister is a single mom who works hard to make sure her children have everything they need. Their dad is not in the picture and she's raising the boys on her own.

The mom of the boys was notified last week by an administrator that the boys were involved in a party with alcohol and drugs. "We will have them working all summer, we don't want them to go down that road of a partying lifestyle," Meaghan said. "If you need yard work done let me know, we will have them out there this summer."

Hopefully, the boys will learn a valuable lesson. Hard labor has always taught me to be thankful for what is provided to me.
