Amarillo Police Looking For Bank Robber
Yesterday a man robbed the First United Bank at 1900 SE 34th around 3:15pm.
Witnesses say a man entered the bank with bandana over his face and produced a small silver handgun and bag. He threatened employees with the gun and ordered a teller to fill the bag with cash.
He took the bag full of an undisclosed amount of cash, ordered everyone to get down and fled the bank on foot. Officers believe he was last seen running south on Ross.
Police are looking for a six-foot-tall man, wearing a camouflage hat, dark bandana, sunglasses, blue coat and jeans.
