Amarillo’s Bomb City Bombshells Bring Action To Amarillo Saturday

This Saturday, March 30, the Bomb City Bombshells will be lacing up in Amarillo. It's Preps taking on Punks at the Rex Baxter Building.

The bout starts at 6pm this Saturday (March, 30). Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. You can purchase tickets by visiting bombcitybombshellsrollerderby.com or call 806-414-7847.

The event is for a good cause. It will benefit Domestic Violence Victims Services at Family Support Services.

Last year, I was given the opportunity to lace up and skate with the Bombshells. I had a lot of "ideas" going into that practice regarding roller-derby.

I made jokes about it being "NASCAR on skates," joked about how it wasn't that physically demanding.
