Amarillo’s Margarita Festival Featuring 15 Different Margaritas

A festival of Margarita’s in Amarillo? Is This a dream come true?? Oh YES! July 13^th at the Starlight Ranch Event center.

Sample over 15 different margaritas from all around the panhandle. Plus get a voting chip to vote for your favorite margarita concoction. The winning margarita gets a cash prize including naming rights for “Amarillo’s Best Margarita!"

Tasting cards will be available for purchase that include a limited-edition tasting glass and sampling vouchers. Each vendor will have their own margarita recipe, I think I’ll be sure to try them all. Want a full-size margarita? I hear there will be plenty available with their craft margarita menus at each of the bars.

Margaritas, tacos, and Jimmy Buffett…kinda, with the Lost Shaker of Salt band playing all of Jimmy Buffett songs. Also this year they are introducing their first annual Lucha Libre wrestling tournament. Also if you can bring the heat, try the jalapeño eating contest, which I will pass on that one.
