Ready or not, awards season has arrived, which means you’ll hear be hearing nothing but Oscars talk for the next two months. It’s safe to say this will be a very competitive awards season as this week has already shown. On Monday, Moonlight swept the Gotham AwardsManchester By the Sea dominated the National Board of Review’s winners list, and La La Land earned 12 noms for the Critics’ Choice Awards and was named the Best Film by the New York Film Critic's Circle. So what will the Oscar nominations look like? ScreenCrush has a brand new podcast to keep you up to date on predictions and all the awards season news.

And the Podcast Goes To… is our new bi-weekly podcast devoted to all things in the 2017 movie awards season, from the Golden Globes to the Academy Awards and all the critics circles and indie ceremonies in between. In each episode ScreenCrush editors Erin Whitney, Britt Hayes, and Matt Singer will break down the latest awards season developments, industry gossip, and predict the Oscar nominees and frontrunners. Our first episode is all about our Oscar nomination predictions for the top five categories.

Listen and subscribe on iTunes or YouTube to find out what we think will get nominated come January 24 for Best Picture. We also debate whether Natalie Portman is bound to beat Annette Bening yet again for Best Actress, if Janelle Monae has a shot at a Best Supporting Actress nom for Hidden Figures, and what movies may take us by surprise. Stay tuned for new episodes every other Wednesday. Our second episode will be all about the Golden Globe nominations and debuts on December 14.

And if you’re still hungry for more, check out ScreenCrush’s other podcast Long Takes, which features in-depth conversations around controversial movies and diversity in film and TV.
