I hate writing about these closings. They seem to happen far too often.

Joe Daddy’s on Paramount has closed it’s doors. This is sad because it was another local establishment. It was also the former home of Ruby Tequila’s which is also gone. Is this a doomed location? How could it be?

This location has been open for 6 years and have had such an awesome menu. I mean they had it all. They had BBQ, Chicken Fried Steak, Steak, Seafood, Burgers. They also had a lunch, brunch and Happy Hour menu. Also they would have live music too. So I am not really sure the reason for the closing.

According to their Facebook page they will still be open for catering. There are other Joe's properties including Macaroni Joe's and Joe Taco but they will still be around according to Facebook.

This is what was said via Facebook:

As of today Joe Daddy’s will be shutting it’s doors, but Joes Catering will still be operating at full speed. We have been blessed over the last 6 years with the greatest memories, friends, and most of all employees. God always lays before us times for change and new seasons. As a company, we are embracing this new season and changes that God has set before us. Thank you Amarillo, friends, family, and our staff for 6 amazing years. We will forever be grateful for your love and support.

Over the next few months will be focusing and spending time working hard with our other great businesses including Joes Catering, Joe Taco Amarillo and Canyon and Macaroni Joes. Our passion as a company continues to always be heavily involved in our community and helping make it a better place. That passion still burns within us, and we are excited about the future of Amarillo and Canyon.

We are blessed!

It's sad to see another restaurant gone. Especially knowing that leaves their employee's without jobs. I sure hope they land on their feet fast.
