Could Bruno Mars be the heir apparent to the title of 'King of Pop?'

Now, don't get mad at me. Nobody can replace the talent and achievements of Michael Jackson and his body of work, but I think Bruno could carry the torch and would be a great successor.

When he first came out with 'Just The Way You Are' and 'Grenade' I wasn't so sure, but I did know that he had talent and charisma. I thought 'The Lazy Song' was a cute tune, but it didn't have long lasting appeal. But, WOW! His new album, 'Unorthodox Jukebox' is just chalk full of catchy songs.

My favorite tune up to now has been 'Locked Out of Heaven,' but what 'closed the deal' for me is his latest track, 'Treasure,'  which is the follow-up to the very smooth, 'When I Was Your Man.' Talk about a flashback to the late 70's, in a good way. Sounds like Michael channeled his way through Bruno on this. It could have easily come off Jackson's 'Off The Wall' album.
