On Feb. 13, HBO will premiere Eagles of Death Metal: Nos Amis (Our Friends). You can watch the trailer for the Colin Hanks-directed documentary above.

The trailer opens up with footage from their Nov. 13, 2015 concert at the Bataclan in Paris, only to have the screen go blank, as frontman Jesse Hughes describes what it was like as terrorists stormed the building and began firing, eventually killing 89 people. “Everyone’s face was looking at me," he said while on the verge of tears. "I saw fear take a hold of everyone in that theater.”

Hanks chronicles the journey of the band from that tragic night up through the re-scheduled date at the Olympia Theater three months later, a show that Hughes called his "sacred responsibility" to perform. But it also reveals the burden and guilt he's carrying with him. “I just want to do what I’m supposed to do to make sure everyone comes through this okay and I want it to fix me too,” he added.

Along the way, it goes into the longtime friendship between Hughes and his non-touring bandmate, Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, complete with Homme's perspective on what they went through. “How do my sweetest friends un-see this,” he wonders. “They can’t.”

Nos Amis (Our Friends) also features an interview with Bono, who was in Paris at the same time with U2, and reached out to them. "Very few people have stared down cold-blooded evil," he said. Three weeks after the attack, both bands returned to Paris, with Eagles of Death Metal joining U2 during their concert to sing "I Love You All the Time" and Patti Smith's "People Have the Power."
