ORIGINAL STORY: The city of Fritch has issued a water boil notice Wednesday, June 12, for customers in the Lake Meredith Harbor addition only, according to a news release from the city manager's office.

A water main broke Tuesday, June 11, at the intersection of Yuma and El Paso streets. Crews worked through the night to make repairs; two of those repairs led to additional failures in the area.

The city stresses that only customers in the Lake Meredith Harbor area are affected. Residents in Fritch are not affected.

Once water service is restored, water for drinking and cooking should be boiled, according to the city's release.
