As we get older, one of our biggest concerns is health. As a kid, you never count calories or care that there is nutritional information written on packaging. As time takes it's toll on our bodies, what we eat and how we take care of ourselves becomes a priority.

Nick's Fight Club has a great reputation in town when it comes to getting people in shape. When you ask someone who works-out  at Nick's, they tell you with a big grin how intense it is and how they can't wait to go back in tomorrow.

I am going to be working-out at NIck's Fight Club training for a fight. I've never been in a sanctioned boxing match. I'm barely active at all. I wake up, go to work, go home, sleep, rinse, and repeat.

When setting things up with NFC, they explained what it is they want to accomplish when people come through the door. They don't want to just focus on the physical. It's just as much about the mental aspect of health as anything else.

There are clients who have used NFC to battle with everything from their weight to depression. Some use it as an intense way to deal with everyday stress. And when you ask around, everyone there loves it.

This is why Nick's asks, "What's Your Battle?" It isn't just about getting fit. For me, I've got about ten years worth of bad decisions I can't wait to burn off.

First day of my one-on-one training is Wednesday. All I've been told to do to prepare is buy a pair of 14 oz boxing gloves and some wraps. On top of this I'm going to be getting my diet under control, and God above help me, I'll have to quit smoking.

I'll be checking in on Wednesday with an update. If you want more information be sure to check out Nick's Fight Club via their website.
