Gucci Mane and Drake have a new collaboration on the way. Guwop went on Instagram today (Dec. 15) to hype up a new record he did with Drake called "Both." DJ Khaled also referenced the track in his own post about premiering Gucci's The Return of East Atlanta Santa album on We The Best Radio.

From the looks of things, "Both" will be a song on Gucci's new album instead of the much anticipated 6'ers project. Guwop has confirmed that he and Drake's 6'ers collaboration is "100%" happening though.

Gucci Mane and Drake first worked together upon the former's release from prison. The two teamed up for the song "Back on Road" and quickly started thinking about a full project, according to longtime Gucci collaborator Zaytoven.

"Gucci and Drake started talking, and you know how Gucci is," Zaytoven said. "'Hey man, we gotta do a tape together. We gotta do something together.’ And Drake like, ‘Bet. We gotta do it.’ Right then, they started thinking about a name and then Drake said, I think he said, ‘We oughta call it The 6'ers‘ or something like that because I guess where he’s from, they call it the 6 and Gucci Mane is from Zone 6. Then we just ran with it.”

Gucci told Power 106 that he and Drake have only completed two tracks for the album as both men have been focused on their respective solo LPs. It looks like the 6'ers project is destined for a 2017 release unless Gucci has another surprise left in him.
