Halestorm are digging a little deeper into their Into the Wild Life album, providing fans with their song "New Modern Love." But the video for the track has a bit of a twist as Halestorm perform the song acoustic.

The group shot the clip at Atlantic Records' recording studio in New York City back in April of this year. As can be seen, Lzzy Hale stands to sing, while her bandmates remain seated. Drummer Arejay Hale appears to be keeping the percussive beat on a box rather than behind his traditional drum kit.

While we're all familiar with the power that Hale can generate when she lets loose with some of her screams, this intimate performance showcases how Hale can be just as impactful adding soul, emotion and nuance in a more reserved setting.

"New Modern Love" is featured on Halestorm's Into the Wild Life album, which has already generated radio hits in "Apocalyptic," "Amen" and "I Am the Fire." The band has been touring in support of the disc for a majority of the year. Halestorm are finishing out 2015 on tour in Australia. They'll play the ShipRocked Cruise in January before heading off to Europe for their next tour leg. See all of their dates here.
