Jane’s Addiction has announced a North American tour to support their new album ‘The Great Escape Artist.’

The 2011 project was the band’s first in eight years, and they followed the October release with a string of live shows along the west coast and at festivals. Beginning on Feb. 22 the band will embark on an 18 show in 32 day trip across North America.

Tickets for the Theater of Escapists tour go on sale Jan. 14, with a special pre-sale beginning Wednesday morning (Jan. 11) at 10AM ET at the band’s website.

There is also an opportunity to package tickets with an autographed lithograph like the one pictured here.

“We chose to play as many of the great theaters that we could find because we wanted to immerse the audience in a unique experience unlike any they have ever seen at a rock show,” singer Perry Farrell said in a press release. “Expect an orgy of musical and visual delights. We like orgies, and hope you do too.”

Guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Chris Chaney will round out the group.

‘The Great Escape Artist’ is the band’s fourth studio album, featuring ‘Irresistible Force’ and the current single ‘Underground.’
