Lonestar 98.7’s Voice and Powerhouse Has Died

We were shaken to hear that our station's voice Chris Corley has passed away after battling pancreatic cancer.

We are heartbroken because not only was he the voice of our station but he was a powerhouse for many stations in the radio community. He's been in the business for over 25 years and worked in television, commercials, movie trailers, and endless radio stations across the united states.

Charlie loved sending him the lines to read cause he would always send the best for our Amarillo station, he would make Charlie laugh with his outtakes and sarcastic nature.

We will continue to keep Chris' memory alive on the station. But we are going to miss him dearly and we are so thankful his voice has given Lonestar 98.7 a name in the Amarillo community.
