Sum 41 fans, this picture is guaranteed to bring back some great memories. Soon after frontman Deryck Whibley's near-fatal liver and kidney issues, the Sum 41 leader reunited with former bandmate Dave 'Brown Sound' Baksh for the first time in seven years.

Last month, Whibley took to his personal website and spilled the beans on a month-long hospitalization. Caused by years of heavy drinking, Whibley's liver and kidneys suddenly collapsed, prompting doctors to sedate the frontman for an entire week. Doctors even told Whibley that if he was to consume one more alcoholic beverage, he could die.

The Sum 41 frontman looked incredibly frail upon leaving the hospital, but Whibley promised fans in another blog post that he would be "better soon and back out on stage before you know it."

As for the reunion of Deryck Whibley and Dave Baksh, Whibley posted a photo of the two with the following message:

brown sound and i hanging in my backyard with sinatra! fun times hanging out with an old friend again, we haven’t seen each other in 7 years! we were soaking up the sun, playing some of my favourite guitars, laughing and watching funny movies. just like old times.

Stay tuned for more updates on the health of Deryck Whibley.
