Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor, often referred to as the 'Great Big Mouth,' is opinionated as we all know. Now, he's weighed in on Metallica's technical gaffe at the Grammys, the band flat out not being introduced and the Grammy organization on the whole.

Taylor was a guest on the ETC Show (video below) when he sounded off on the Grammys, first stating, "I feel bad for Metallica" because the band should not have been "disrespected" this far into their career.

He chalked the issue of James Hetfield's microphone being not being turned on up to the Grammys opting to use their own sound personnel rather than the band's, adding, "All of Metallica's people are not allowed to work on live performances on television. None of us are. They have a sound producer and a whole crew of people who work on those shows and then your people work right behind them, all right? But you're not allowed to touch anything, which is horses--t, because stuff like this then happens.

As for the band not even being introduced by presenter Laverne Cox, Taylor offered, "The fact that then they weren't introduced? It was just, 'Oh, here's Lady Gaga…' Oh, by the way, she's f--king with Metallica, you dick." Cox later extended an apology towards Metallica and their fans for her absent-mindedness.

Taylor went on to mention his "strong opinions" about the Grammys were "cemented" after this year's debacle. "We don't need your respect," he affirmed. "We don't need you to make us feel like we accomplished something because all you do is open our mouths and s--t in it and I'm tired of tasting it. So, f--k you, dude. And by the way, I've won one, so it's not a big deal. They don't even really listen to this s--t. They go, 'Oh, I recognize that name. There you go,'" (transcription via Blabbermouth).

Following the Grammy performance, Hetfield threw his guitar to a crew member and kicked over his mic stand. Drummer Lars Ulrich later told The Late Late Show With James Corden, “I haven’t seen [Hetfield] like that in 20 years. He was livid. He’s aged really well and he’s a pretty chill guy, but the first five or 10 minutes in that dressing room was not a lot of fun, but as they say, the show must go on and we fought through it.”
