Ladies and gentleman, prime time prank season is upon us. Why? Everyone's so stinkin' happy around the holidays, and the last thing they'd expect is for an evil prankster to pull out hilarious (and sometimes mean) tricks.

We don't know what's with the recent upswing of pranks popping up online but it seems fairly certain to say we don't mind them. This one -- which features a paralyzingly real-life Tyrannosaurus Rex terrorizing a town's citizens (playfully, of course) -- is the newest piece of mischief that caught our eye.

Nolan Daniels did not win hundreds of millions of dollars as part of last week's record breaking Powerball $588 million jackpot. But he did trick millions of people on Facebook into thinking he had.

Think last week's ghostly elevator prank was tormenting? Think again, because it turns out that ghoulish little girl of yesterday was only the beginning. All Hallows Eve might have passed on the calendar but the undead elevator prank is always good for a scare.

Everyone loves a good scare, wouldn't you agree? Well, we're not so sure these people would. In fact, it's possible they might all opt for the stairs in the future.

Remember that 'trust fall' game you used to play as a kid? Man, that was scary. In elementary school, it was the game we used to distinguish who the trustworthy friends were and who stunk.

If you know anything about us here at TheFW, it's that we love a good, harmless prank. Cell phone crashing and embarrassing people with talking elevators are just a couple we particularly fancy. Basically, we'd like to think of ourselves as joking experts. The folks at LG think their flat screens are pretty lifelike. So to prove it, they covered the floor of an elevator with the screens and had cameras running when unsuspecting office workers got into the lift.

Unless you've used your monthly minutes, there's usually no harm in letting a stranger borrow your cellphone for a quick call. There's usually no harm, but internet prankster Andrew Hales plays off this social generosity in his latest video.

Somebody with a seriously warped sense of humor and some time on their hands went around the London subway system and stuck these signs up. Some of these are ridiculous. Some of them contain nuggets of truth. Some of them we wish did. All of them are hilarious.
