Virgin Money, the banking arm of the business empire founded by Virgin Records mastermind Richard Branson, has debuted a line of "punk-themed" credit cards — including three that use the logo and artwork from the Sex Pistols.
In a recent interview, the legend that is John Lydon revealed an interesting tidbit concerning Sir Mick Jagger. It turns out that while Sex Pistol Sid Vicious was awaiting trial for the murder of his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen, Jagger stepped in the pay the legal fees.
On Oct. 12, 1978, the body of 20-year-old Nancy Spungen was found in a room at New York's famous Chelsea Hotel. She and her boyfriend, Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious, had been living in Room 100 for abound a month and a half when Vicious called the front desk, saying that something had happened to his girlfriend. It turned out that she was dead from multiple stab wounds to her stomach.

To mark the record’s 35th anniversary, Universal Music UK will release a special deluxe box set version on Sept. 24.
Hearing that a Sex Pistols ‘God Save The Queen’ single sold for over $19,000 on eBay is probably enough to make sardonic singer Johnny Rotten’s middle fingers fly high.
