Not all the lights are going out on Georgia, just the traffic lights.

Starting Monday night signal work will begin at the intersection of the eastbound and westbound I-40 frontage roads at Georgia.

Construction crews will be moving wiring to begin widening work on the westbound frontage road.  The work will take place 7pm on Monday through 6am on Tuesday, May 1st.

The signals will be turned off at some point during these times, so please use caution when traveling these areas.  Stop signs will be in place in all directions.

The I-40 westbound exit to Georgia will be closed mid-May and will remained closed for a month to work on widening the frontage road.
