West Amarillo Hotel Robbed

Early Tuesday morning a hotel in West Amarillo was robbed at gunpoint.

Amarillo police were called to the Baymont Inn at 3411 West I-40 just before 5:30am yesterday.

During the investigation it was determined two men entered the hotel wearing ski masks and black jackets.  The men had their hands in their pockets and gestured as if they were armed with weapons.  The men were given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.

No one was injured and there is no further description of the assailants.
