This week the Buffs are back at it as we move closer to the end of regular season play and into tournament season. After a week on the road, WTAMU will be hosting all of the action on their home court in Canyon.

Thursday, the Buffs will be hosting Texas A&M University-Kingsville. The last time these two teams met up in January, it was a heated contest that ended with WTAMU coming away with a nail biting 70-69 win over the Javelinas.

The Javelinas are coming off of a loss in overtime to A&M-Commerce last Saturday. They are 4-10 in Lone Star Conference play, and 11-13 overall for the season.

Saturday, WTAMU will welcome Angelo State University’s Rams to the First United Bank Center in Canyon. The last time the Buffs and the Rams went head to head was on ASU’s home court, and the Buffs came away with an 81-77 win inside the Junell Center.

The Rams are starting their week coming off of a 66-59 loss to Tarleton State last Saturday. They will travel to UT Permian Basin before taking on the Buffs in Saturday’s contest. ASU is 8-6 in Lone Star Conference play, and 17-7 overall for the season.

Thursday, we will begin our coverage with pregame analysis starting at 5:15 pm. Saturday, we will begin our coverage from Canyon during Hall of Champions weekend at 1:45 pm with our pregame analysis and interviews. As always, you can tune in or stream the game from our website.
