Make Mom’s Day Memorable: Amarillo’s Top Mother’s Day Activities

Mom, she is the glue that holds your family together. She makes sure everyone is where they need to be when they need to be. She makes sure food is on the table. She makes sure the house is running smoothly.

She wears many different hats and makes sure that your family, home, and life are running smoothly. So when you notice that Mother's Day is coming up that is one time you don't want to mess up. She gets one day. She should be treated like the queen that she is.

Of course, the restaurants will be full that day. Mother's Day is a big day to take her out for a great meal that she doesn't have to cook. What else is there to do to honor your mom? I repeat you do not want to mess this one up.

What mom really wants to do is spend time with her family. She doesn't want to have to worry about doing the laundry or picking up the clutter around the house. She wants to feel special and she wants to do something with you, her family.

Gals in the Garden

Mom likes to shop. She loves to come home with something special for herself. Gals in the Garden is that time when she can have a glass of wine, shop, and listen to some music. Wonderland Park

Before you go and say this is more of a fun thing for kids. Yes, that is true. As a mom, I always enjoyed having fun with my daughter. We did spend every Mother's Day out at Wonderland Park. I would ride all of the rides with my daughter. Many fun memories were made. Oh, and Mom gets in free. So there is that.

Amarillo Restaurants

They are going to be busy. If you can make a reservation I would suggest that. If not, you will probably be waiting. It will be a busy day but make sure you do not make mom cook. Make her feel special. Heck, you can do the laundry too.
