In case you haven't noticed Amarillo is under construction.  Everywhere you go in Amarillo you will run into construction.  Here are the areas you might want to avoid this week.

As we embark on a new week, we still have to deal with the massive amounts of construction going on around Amarillo. Here are the areas you need to be aware of on your morning commute.

Amarillo has tons of construction going on at the moment.  You'll run into some form of construction any where you go in town, so please be prepared as you head out on your daily commutes.

If you are planning to travel anywhere near I-40 and Soncy this weekend, you will want to find an alternate route.  The Texas Department of Transportation will be closing down the intersection.

I don't know about you, but it seems that when the holidays roll around so does the road construction.  It always happens on some of the most traveled roads in the area.  Here is a list of the areas in Amarillo you might want to avoid on your commutes, since there will be construction going on and it will likely slow down traffic.

If you have traveled on I-40 either direction from the interchange to about Grand Street, you may have noticed that they are currently doing construction and have lanes closed on each side.  This is just one thing wreaking havoc on traffic in Amarillo.  Here's all your lane closures for the week.

As the construction, continues on the I-40/I-27, motorists can expect more delays.  As they project continues, you may also need to find alternate routes to make sure you get to your destinations on time.  They will be closing down the I-40/I-27 interchange overnight.
