Update: Good News and Updates for Amarillo’s Buc-ee’s

We are a little over a year away from the Buc-ees in Amarillo becoming a reality. Their groundbreaking back in October let us know that they are supposed to be open in February of 2025. Amarillo can't wait.

Anytime we drive by Airport Blvd. we have to look over and watch the progress. I mean we are almost to February so we should be seeing progress. One progress that has been noticed is our location on GPS Maps.

We are still not listed anywhere on the Buc-ee's website as a location. That will come when they get closer. It's nice, though, to see some progress online anyway. Being able to see Buc-ee's as a location anywhere is good news.

Google Maps does not have us yet. Leave it to Apple Maps to be ahead of the game. Try it for yourself. This is good news for Amarillo. We are officially on the map so to speak. If you look at the right map.

It is listed as Permanently Closed. We know that is not true. It just hasn't opened yet. The last thing we want with our Amarillo hospitality is for someone to make that long journey to find it still being built.

So we have to start somewhere and seeing us start being acknowledged is good news. I know we feel like kids waiting for Christmas but it will be here before we know it. We have been waiting so long for this to become a reality but it is happening.

I just can't wait to be able to make my first steps ever into a Buc-ee's and it actually be here in Amarillo. We are all just counting down the days until Amarillo's Buc-ee's opens in 2025.
